I love baking. I love food and the whole growing and cooking process in general. My oven doesn't have any temperatures actually written on it, i just turn the dial to about 7 o'clock and leave it until it looks done. So i don't really know how hot it goes but i'm guessing its pretty hot. I also tried to research how hot the solder in a solder fitting needs to be to melt but its surprisingly difficult to find out! and i didn't. I even asked the guys in the handyman stores and warehouses, but they didn't know either.

So time for an experiment :)

Will baking a lamp work? What do you think!?

In the top image you can see i left an olive from the compression fitting on the foot of the stand. This ended up being completely stuck on but actually added another interesting yet simple detail.

And retail is detail

so thats excellent.

Thought this could be an interesting platform to number and maybe initial as well to add a more individual and treasurable quality to each piece.

You cant see it in the picture but the pipe looks quite a bit darker in real life.
